Quartz sand + acid washing line
Quartz / silica sand purification line combining scrubbing, classification, magnetic iron removal and acid washing — designed as one process package for glass, foundry or high-purity sand markets.

Process outline
High-level flow only. Unit sizes, media and chemical recipes are confirmed after sample / engineering — not invented here.
- Crushing / scrubbing & sizing Prepare feed size; scrub to remove clay films and surface coatings before downstream purification.
- Classification Screen and classify to the mesh band your product specification requires.
- Magnetic iron removal Dry and/or wet magnetic separation stages remove magnetic and weakly magnetic iron. Model selection follows sample testing — see Equipment for published PTMS models.
- Acid washing & rinsing Acid wash (pickling) dissolves remaining iron coatings; rinse and neutralize to meet Fe₂O₃ / whiteness targets. Exact acid route is set after lab confirmation.
- Dewatering, drying & packing Dewater, dry and pack to the moisture and bagging standard your buyer specifies.
Process expansion slot
Reserved empty section for extra unit operations (e.g. calcination, flotation polish, packaging variants) once company data is ready.

Is acid washing always included?
Only when the product grade needs it. Some quartz projects stop at scrubbing + magnetic separation. We confirm the flowsheet after testing your sand.
Where can I see separator model details?

How do I get a line quotation?
Price on request via Contact / WhatsApp. Share capacity, feed assay and target Fe₂O₃. BOM is issued from company files after engineering review.
